Meet Todd Smith

Todd is a graduate of Montclair State University with a degree in Finance and Economics. He is the owner of Royce Joseph Capital LLC.

He has successfully owned and operated several businesses and received awards and accolades for their successes. He is an active member of the Board of Directors and former Vice President of Community Hope, a not for profit helping individuals, including veterans, and their families, overcome mental illness, addiction, homelessness and poverty by providing housing and support services. Todd also belongs to several chambers of commerce in NJ, including the Meadowlands Chamber. Todd is the producer of the Royce Report-TV on YouTube.

Todd’s expertise is in helping small businesses and nonprofits obtain funding through various methods, depending on the size and type of business and the current revenue and growth potential of the organization.

People often ask Todd, “How does an experienced business person, who is involved in finance, understand strategic business planning?”

The answer is that a finance professional has a responsibility to look beyond just “the numbers”. There are criteria that have to be met and a timetable that has to be set regarding a company’s ability to repay a loan obligation. How Todd strategizes and structures the transaction is how he helps his clients stay on track, meet all of their business goals, and sustain a healthy cash position.
